The jury is pleased to note that  selection of the Sixth  BOSIFEST  is a collection of excellent films. With the quality they possess, all of this films, without false sentimentality talk about the exciting and moving stories, introducing  viewers with the heroes of everyday life, and the most important- remind us that the difference between  so-called. healthy people and people with disabilities essentially did not exist. . These films inspire and represent a kind of Ode of vitality of the human spirit. The jury was placed under a difficult task to choose the best among equals, and this choice is just the one of many possible. It was not easy and that is why we have expanded list of awarded films with a two ‘’Special Mention’’ awards.

 

 

GRAND PRIX OF BOSIFEST 2015 FOR THE BEST FILM

thumb_ziri1For impressively told story of  a man who gets a second chance in life and exciting film procedure that treats  past, present and future of the hero, the jury awarded the GRAND PRIX OF BOSIFEST 2015 for the best film to documentary film"After the War" directed by Evgeny Golynkin.

The story of the participant of the war in Chechnya, who deals with the consequences of wounding is told in an authentic way and carries an anti-war message, but also suggest that miracles happen and confirms the unrivaled power of the human spirit.

 

 

 

thumb_ziri3AWARD OF BOSIFEST 2015 FOR THE BEST DIRECTOR

For the skill of storytelling in film and sophisticated presentation of the story of her parents, the jury awarded the prize for the best director of BOSIFEST 2015  to  director of the documentary film "How Much Love"  Kineret Hay Gillor.

With a safe directorial hand, the audience is guided through the story of a couple whose everyday life is difficult  because of the disability of one of the partners.

Film without sentimentality describes the difficulties of the new situation and protagonists  "surrender" to the director without reserve, which makes   this film one of the most beautiful love stories.

AWARD  OF BOSIFEST 2015 FOR BEST SCREENPLAY

thumb_zemFor a unique approach and a fantastic interpretation of political life in the Czech Republic, the jury awarded the prize for best screenplay to group of authors, who are also the main protagonists of the documentary ’’Earthlings, who are you voting for?’’. Although they are people with intellectual disabilities, they are very accurate, sensible, outspoken and with lots of humor analyze how politics affects people's lives and dare to speak about things that are usually silenced.

 

SPECIAL MENTION OF BOSIFEST 2015

thumb_margaFor virtuously interpretation of the role, girl who is undaunted  by cerebral palsy  began an exciting exploration of romantic relationships and her own sexuality, the jury awarded a Special mention of the BOSIFEST 2015 the lead actress of the film "Margarita, with a straw" KALKI KEKLAN.

Kalki Keklan leads us with admiration worthy acting skills, her understanding of the essential character that interprets and exceptional charisma , through,  at the same time, shocking and entertaining world of young Laila.

 

SPECIAL MENTION OF BOSIFEST 2015

thumb_bashirFor courage and perseverance, and above all for an extraordinary message that sends to viewers,  film about the fate of a blind boxer from Uganda jury awarded a Special mention  to protagonists of the documentary film "Bashir’s  vision" - Bashir Ramadan. His love for sport but also life in general, gives this film portrait of the great strength and the makes Bashir  a true hero.

 

SPECIAL MENTION OF BOSIFEST 2015 BY THE SECRETARIAT FOR CULTURE OF THE CITY OF  BELGRADE

Secretariat for Culture of the city of Belgrade for the first time on BOSIFEST 2015 awarded Special mention which was given to the film "The other dreamers." directed by Roy Zafrani.

The award was handed over  by  member of the City Council  Mr Dragomir Petronijevic, and the award was received on the behalf of director from Israel  by guest-author   Mrs Kineret Hay Gillor.

On behalf of the Secretariat of Culture,  the rationale for the award red the City Secretary for Culture Mr Vladan Vukosavljevic.
